EA says they have nothing in works for the Wii U

Electronics Arts in a recent interview Said they Had nothing currently in production for the Wii U. Making Big franchises unavailable for Nintendos Latest home console. Some might say this is no big deal since Gamers who buy Nintendo systems buy them for nintendo games, but this puts a serious dent in the Sports category with games like FIFA, and Madden not making their way over. Hopefully this E3 will showcase some great games for Wii U and Sales will pick back up for the console and EA will have to reevaluate their decision. With Nintendo sure to show off Mario Kart U, Super Smash Bros, and the next 3D Mario the system should pick up some serious steam.

Visual Concepts and 2K Sports is working with Yukes on the project.

You may remember that Wii U never received WWE '13 at launch while 360/PS3 did. Yukes has no interest in Wii U when they were working with THQ, and they still don't now that they're working with 2K Sports.

Also word around the offices is that Take Two and Rockstar have no plans to bring Grand Theft Auto or any of Rockstar's major M rated games to the Wii U.

ofcourse this is all rumors for now...but if true it can't be good news for anyone hoping to see Rockstar/take two games on Wii U.

Nintendo now builds on their enthusiasm with a fun lineup of games for early 2013.

"During the holidays we saw new players respond positively to new game-play experiences using the Wii U GamePad controller and the true 3D of Nintendo 3DS," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "With such a diverse lineup of games on the horizon, people will experience a variety of ways to play, whether they're using the GamePad to scan for criminals or seeing ghosts in 3D on the Nintendo 3DS screen."

New on Wii U

The Wii U home console launched to great acclaim on Nov. 18 with the largest lineup of games in Nintendo history. Our previous campaigns involved a lot of messaging Nintendo of America – on Facebook and Twitter, through email and over the phone, and even via physical mail.
This time, rather than asking Nintendo for Pandora’s Tower directly (which we have already been doing for the past 9 months, alongside Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story), instead we would like to pitch Pandora’s Tower to the publishers themselves. This does not involve any spamming or harassing of the various publishers, but instead we plan on sending a special promotional kit to each of the publishers we have selected."

You can read more on their official site: http://operationrainfall.com/help-pitch-pandoras-tower-to-publishers/
